Postage and MailingWe subsidize our customers postage to give them a better rate than those calculated by PayPal. We begin with a standard charge of $9.95 on all 500g parcels sent via Canada Post no matter where they are going. This works great for North America but for the additional costs of International shipping we need the customer to add our pre-calculated amounts for their country and their order. These can be viewed via the International Postage Rates button below
If you are outside of Canada or Untied States, there will be additional postage due. After your order is completed, if you have not added on International Postage, you will be directed via email to a window where you can add on the difference between what you have already paid and the international rate. No orders will be mailed until all postage is paid. Postage outside of North America is billed at the best Canada Post airmail rate. Should you be in a hurry, you will need to contact us requesting expedited or UPS rates before ordering. Postage in Canada and the contiguous USA is billed at $9.95 USD for any parcel under one half a kilogram. This would typically include one easel butler and one counterweight bag.
The sliding scale used on the e-commerce site is fixed but not necessarily accurate when size of articles must be taken into consideration. If you have a large order and you find that the postage seems extreme, please contact us and we will assess it before you complete the order. Using a mailing address other than your billing address will require you to contact us before completing your order giving us the alternate address of where to ship along with the reason why. Please take into consideration that unlike the USA whose population is widespread, 90% of Canada's people live within 100 miles of the USA border but our mail system pricing is contingent upon delivery to the vast expanses not included in this small strip. This means our rates for shipping to a Canadian address will be slightly higher than those in more densely populated countries. |
